Rev. Carol is a researcher in the area of Natural Health and Spirituality. She is a Certified Holistic Health Practitioner, Bioenergy Worker and Spiritual Teacher. Carol earned a Diploma in Practical Nursing from Jane Adams School of Practical Nursing, Cleveland, Ohio in 1971, and is a Licensed Practical Nurse. She earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering from Cleveland State University's Fenn College of Engineering, Cleveland Ohio, in 1984; a Master of Science Degree from Clayton College of Natural Health, Birmingham, AL. in 2002. She is a PhD candidate at Clayton College. Carol earned a Diploma in advanced Spiritual Studies from Unity School of Religious Studies, Unity Village, MO. in 1997; she is a Licensed Unity Teacher and has taught extensively in the areas of Spirituality, Metaphysics, Prayer and Meditation. She Graduated from All Faiths Seminary, New York, NY in 2000, and is an Ordained Minister. She is co-founder and Pastor of New Light Temple Ministry since 2006.
Carol integrates spirituality and natural health in numerous workshops and classes. She is author of the book Healing With Spirit: The Natural Way, and maintains a Holistic Health Practice called, The Natural Way, which offers custom programs designed to help people regain balance and wellness by enhancing the natural, health-promoting mechanisms which are innate within every individual. Additionally, Carol is a musician, songwriter and poet. She writes music for Vision of Unity, the music ministry she founded with her daughter Simone Scales in 1997. They produce inspirational CDs and have performed their music at churches and organizations throughout the mid-west. Carol enjoys helping people rise up to their higher human and spiritual potentials. She has two daughters, one son, many grandchildren, and resides in Dayton, Ohio.
